hmm this is a good point. Even if you meet lvl 80, g8 requirements for many toons, the strategy will still be a critical point. There are a lot of features and maybe it needs a lot of communication between us.

Of course, as zzart said, this in only an "impression" of how they're doing. A low score doesn't necessarily mean they're not htting it. Top ranking arena members with low scores could be little fish in very big ponds. It's safe to say, if someone's line 6 averages to 600+ per day, that guild is definitely hitting T7 every day. If someone's average is in the 500s per day, chances are good, their guild is hitting T7. Check multiple top players from the same guild, if available, to help get a better impression of how a guild is doing. Following up, and to give us a decent idea of where we stand against our competition: On my server is the strongest member of FTB Elite guild #2: FTB Overseer. He joined them back in Jan. They also reached T7 in daily contribution on the first day. He is only Level 77 at the time of this writing, and his collection is no more impressive than most of our members.
I checked my arena top 25. I have the most coins. Sooooooooo... that's good

So it turns out T6 is really, really hard. We'll hear more tomorrow, but here's a screenshot of a wiped team with almost nil damage to the guards. We should entertain the thought of doing T5 first so that everyone understands the strategy and can field the right team comps. My opinion: if Instinct beats it tomorrow, then we should jump in. Otherwise, would be wise to spend those coins on 5. postimg.org/image/jia7xro5dDang. That's rough.

I don't think we should drop to T5. This T6 is a good challenge (perfect for us, in fact) and forces us to try/develop/use more characters. We have enough whales here to clear it every few days, and like you said, it will be perfect timing because in that time we'll have saved up enough bank to open another immediately. I'm afraid we'd just kick T5's butt too hard. We might not even be able to keep it open for a full 24 hours to give everyone a chance to participate. The last thing I want is wasted attempts because we have to hold back to allow that.
This was our first day. We expecteded it to be rough. There is a learning curve. Next T6, we know what to expect and how to build our teams and tactics around it. And we get stronger with each clear. So it WILL get easier, as it becomes routine.
Yes, I love the idea of perpetual raiding, being able to use all 5 attempts every day! And nobody ever has to worry about missing out.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot all about the 150k guild bank max. If we have to throw the occasional T5 in there every now and then, just to burn some coin, that sounds prudent.

With it being 50 to open tier 5 and 55 to open tier 6. We can always be raiding if we alternate.
Once we get to two days per 6 it's easy to keep doing sixes but for now if it's 3 days for 6 and 1 for 5
If we have 115k or more credits we need to do a five. 115-55 + 90= 150k cap.
If it takes us 4 days if we are over 85 we'd need to open a 5.

Good analysis, Greg. Yes, we have to plan ahead for the time it will take to clear the raid we open. If we hit max while in the middle of a T6, we waited too long to start a T5.
