Hey guys. I am starting to put together a second arena team, but I would like some input before I put in too much time/resources. There are a handful of characters that people tend to say "so and so is fine, just save them for last." My intent is to make a team entirely of some of those characters. If someone has already tried this team or a close variant, please let me know.
Teebo (L) Kylo Savage 5555s Obi-Wan
I don't think any of these characters can be killed in one turn, so having Teebo as leader can potentially waste the opposing team's efforts to kill one of them when it stealths. An alternative to this would be to have Obi-Wan as leader instead, but with the same makeup. In the alternate setup, Teebo has the potential to be the weak link, but if he cannot be killed before his turn, he will just stealth, and his utility seems like it could be valuable.
It may be a ridiculous idea, so I might just need a sanity check. Thoughts?

I would just auto battle with manual target selection. Little to no threat. RG can chain stun to stop counter attacks and with 0 damage you probably won't be getting RG down to 50% HP anytime soon...

Teebo could be really effective against RG teams, since his dispel attack cannot be avoided. This is quite useful because most RG teams have Dooku in lead.
I've always been a big fan of Ol' Ben. I use him in my current lineup even as lead, and will for quite a while. He's durable as hell, has dodge buff, mass turn manipulation and nobody dares strike him down until last. Sure, he lost some of his potency after he was nerfed, and he's slow, doesn't hit very hard, but he's dependable. If they fix his leader skill I think we'll see him replace Dooku in the meta.
"Fives" I am a new, big fan. He's also in my newest arena lineup. I've been dropping less since I added him. His true power though, really comes from Omegas. You HAVE to max his basic skill out, if he's to be truly useful. Otherwise, he's just a damage sponge.
Kylo...meh.
I haven't played Savage much yet, but I want to and think he's got some potential.

I went against a teebo team yesterday and it was a massive pain. I don't remember who it had specifically, but based on who you posted, I think I'd take out kylo for Daka. If she were to Rez someone it just creates more headaches. The team I went against had her and I couldn't kill her until the end and she kept stunning and reading from stealth. It was such a pain in the ass. Lol

I do realize that there are no huge damage dealing threats in here, but I'm not sure that adding a squishy high dps character would improve the line-up either, since they would be easily focused first with little protection. I'm not particularly a fan of Kylo either, but I'm not sure what an effective replacement would be that fits the intent. Maybe ST Han, but he is pretty easy to take down first, from what I've seen.
My biggest complaint about this game is that there is no opportunity to test out ideas without investing months of time (which could be completely wasted). People complain all the time about the limited cookie cutter teams, but I understand why they exist, because people don't want to invest in something that could potentially suck.
Regardless, I'm probably going to level obi and 5555s, because I think they'll be interesting on other lineups as well, but I may just put this idea, as a whole, on hold.

Lol I really like Daka, but she would be the squishiest of them and relatively easy to take out, so unless I got lucky with a first turn stealth, I don't think she'd be effective. IMO, Daka is mostly useful with a team that has threats that really should be taken out first. (i.e. rey, qgj, fotp) That gives her the opportunity to RNG the opponent into submission. Although, since I do already have her, it would be easy to test out if I can put the rest of the team together.

Unfortunately, glass cannons' damaging abilities scale harder than tanks' health at the moment.
For example, damage dealers can do 10k dmg/turn and have 20k health. Tanks have 50k health so if we're keeping it proportional, they should do about 4k damage/turn and most of them don't. What's more, tanks are a lot slower so they get less turns. To make things worse, potency scales harder than tenacity, which means tanks are very susceptible to debuffs and buff removal.
That said, it's extremely difficult to create a balanced metagame and keep matches within 5 minutes.
